Bento reports operating revenues of RON 24.7 million in the first half of 2025
Bucharest, September 25, 2025: 2B Intelligent Soft S.A. (Bento, BVB: BENTO), a Romanian entrepreneurial company specialized in the development and implementation of software solutions and the provision of IT infrastructure and Cloud services, recorded operating revenues of RON 24.7 million in the first half of 2025, down 45% compared to the same period last year, amid an entirely different operating environment compared to the first half of 2024.
“The financial results reported for the first half of the year reflect a difficult period for the entire IT industry and for companies such as Bento. Unfortunately, we are facing significant delays in the signing of contracts by clients. This dynamic, visible across the entire sector, reduces the flow of new contracts and affects collections during periods when we would have expected more intense activity. At the same time, both in the private and public sectors, the pace of investment decisions is slower than in previous years. In the private sector, many companies have put digitalization projects on hold, preferring to maximize the use of existing IT infrastructure and to exercise caution in spending, given the persistent economic uncertainty. In the public sector, the procurement and contracting process remains bureaucratic, dependent on regulations and access to financing, which leads to additional delays,” stated Radu Scarlat, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bento.
With respect to the budget approved for 2025, the company’s management notes that it will not be achieved due to significant delays in the signing of contracts by clients, as well as the macroeconomic environment. Therefore, Bento has published a budget estimate in the form of a range, taking into account contracts currently in various stages of negotiation, for which deliveries may be carried out by the end of the year, as well as planned activities that may unfold under different anticipated scenarios.
Thus, in the conservative-pessimistic scenario for 2025, in which certain activities are postponed, Bento estimates operating revenues of RON 55 million, EBITDA of RON 6 million, and a net profit of RON 4 million. In the conservative-optimistic scenario, in which part of the planned activities are finalized, estimates increase to operating revenues of RON 72 million, EBITDA of RON 11 million, and a net profit of RON 9 million.
“Looking ahead to the rest of the year, we remain focused on maximizing the signing of contracts in the pipeline, improving their execution efficiency, and identifying new opportunities. We are closely monitoring fiscal regulations and seeking to access financing programs and public projects that may be launched in the second half of the year. At the same time, we are optimizing our cost structure without compromising delivery capacity and service quality, and we maintain a prudent financial position, with a solid level of liquidity that allows us to navigate this period with stability. In addition, we preserve the flexibility to adapt as quickly as possible to new opportunities or challenges that may arise in the future,” added Vlad Bodea, co-founder of Bento and member of the Board of Directors.
At the same time, on September 25, 2025, Bento received the approval of the Financial Supervisory Authority (ASF) for the public buyback offer of 238,100 own shares, representing approximately 1.70% of the company’s share capital. The purchase price was set at RON 12.6 per share, and the offer period will run from October 1 to October 14, 2025. The intermediary of the transaction is SSIF Goldring S.A.
Bento has been listed on the AeRO market of the Bucharest Stock Exchange since March 2022 and is one of the few technology companies in Romania that develops its own software products.
