Bento reports operating revenues of RON 18.8 million and a net profit of RON 2.7 million in Q1 2026

Bucharest, May 20, 2026: 2B Intelligent Soft S.A. (Bento, BVB: BENTO), a Romanian entrepreneurial company specialized in the development and implementation of software solutions, as well as the provision of IT infrastructure and Cloud services, reported operating revenues of RON 18.8 million in the first quarter of 2026, up 48% compared to the same period last year, and a net profit of RON 2.7 million.

From a financial perspective, the results recorded in Q1 2026 reflect a significant improvement in profitability, supported by the increase in operating revenues and a more moderate growth rate of expenses. The evolution during this quarter reflects a better conversion of revenues into operating result, as activity was supported both by projects under implementation and by the adjustment of the cost structure to the pace of projects and the level of generated revenues. For Bento, this discipline is important in a business model where the invoicing and delivery schedule of projects can substantially influence results from one quarter to another. At the same time, continuing investments in our proprietary software products remains a priority, and our objective is to maintain a balance between supporting these investments and generating solid long-term financial results,” stated Radu Scarlat, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bento.

Turnover in the first quarter of the year reached RON 15.7 million, up 71% compared to Q1 2025, also driven by the revenues generated by the significant contract in the energy sector signed at the end of 2025. Its implementation started in Q1 2026. The contract has a total value of approximately RON 34 million and involves the implementation of the hardware infrastructure required for the project, as well as the delivery and integration of the company’s proprietary Bento Field Service Management (Bento FSM) software solution.

In addition to this project, at the beginning of April 2026, Bento signed another significant contract, with a value of USD 1.2 million. The contract was concluded with a client active in the petroleum products distribution sector and consists of the provision of maintenance and technical support services for the IT&C infrastructure of fuel stations.

Amid these contracts, the company anticipates a significant increase in activity in 2026 compared to 2025. According to the revenue and expense budget approved for this year, Bento targets operating revenues of RON 88.1 million, representing a 57% increase compared to the 2025 level, EBITDA of RON 14.9 million, up 107%, and a net profit of RON 11.1 million, representing a 73% increase.

The results recorded in the first quarter of 2026 indicate a recovery in Bento’s activity, following a 2025 marked by delays and a generally slower pace of investments in the IT sector. The start of the implementation of the significant contract in the energy sector signed at the end of last year, as well as the new contract in the petroleum products distribution sector signed at the beginning of April 2026, confirm the relevance of Bento’s solutions and services in industries where digitalization, operational continuity, and the adaptability of critical business processes are essential. These projects allow us to further deepen and refine our solutions in industries with high-quality requirements, increasing their adoption potential in similar sectors, while also providing us with better revenue predictability in relation to the budgetary objectives approved for 2026. In the coming period, we will focus on the execution of the ongoing projects, strengthening relationships with existing clients and partners, and leveraging our proprietary products portfolio, with the objective of expanding our client portfolio, developing new strategic partnerships, and supporting the company’s long-term growth, including outside Romania,” added Vlad Bodea, cofounder of Bento and board member.

Bento has been listed on the AeRO market of the Bucharest Stock Exchange since March 2022 and is one of the few technology companies in Romania that develops proprietary software products.
